Where are the Municipal offices and what are the office hours?
With three exceptions all the Borough offices are in the Municipal Building located at 111 River Styx Rd. The Health department is in the Health Building which is adjacent to the Municipal Building. The Recreation Aide/Scheduler has an office in the upper level of the Civic Center on Lakeside Boulevard. In addition to the office in the Municipal Building the Department of Public Works can be contacted at offices in the DPW Building across the street from the Municipal Building.
Office hours for all Borough offices is 9 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, except that the Borough Garage is open from 7 AM to 3:30 PM and the Construction Official starts at 7 AM.
How can I obtain the phone numbers of Borough Officials?
Open the DIRECTORY. The telephone numbers and, where appropriate, the e-mail and fax numbers are listed there. Also, when you go to a particular department, board or commission, the information is given.
Where can I find the schedules of all the various Borough Government meetings?
The scheduled meeting dates are given at the location on the website for the particular board, commission or committee.. With the exception of the Board of Health, which meets in the Health Building, all the meetings are in the Municipal Building. With the exception of the Recreation Commission, which meets at 8 Pm, all meetings start at 7:30. The Mayor and Council meet on the first and third Wednesday of the month. The Planning Board meets on the first and third Tuesday. The Zoning Board of Adjustment meets the second Wednesday. The Environmental Commission meets the fourth Thursday. The Open Space/Recreation Committee meets on the first Monday of the month at 7:30 PM in the Municipal Building, but does not meet every month.
