Cub Scout Pack 88 celebrated the "100th
Anniversary of Scouting" at their Blue & Gold
Dinner. These energetic, kind and helpful young
men are learning lessons through scouting that will
have a positive influence on their lives.

The programs and activities teach them
the importance of working hard and encouraging each
other along the way.

The service projects and merit badges develop pride
in their accomplishments through self-discipline and
hard work.

And through the journey they grow into strong
leaders, good citizens and amazing young men. So it
is with great admiration and gratitude that we wish
Scouts everywhere much success as this organization
continues the journey into the next century.

The highlight of the afternoon's celebration was
the cake contest. The cakes were baked by father and son teams in honor of the 100th year anniversary.

Each cake was numbered and placed beside a cup, where votes were collected for the favorites.

Cake #5 won the award for The Best Theme and
Cake #2 won the award for The Best Design.
