Borough Hall Decorated for Winter Wonderland

Vito Castoro, the owner and lead designer of "Sign Art", designed and donated the decorations for Winter Wonderland, lighting up Borough Hall, and creating a sparkling background for the holidays.

Vito, a master of visualization with a fanciful eye for detail, carefully studied the inside and outside layout of Borough Hall before planning the decorations. In order to create the spectacular display that wrapped around the outside of the building, Vito drew each pattern, assembled the wires, and arranged the individual pieces in a magnificent design that encircled Borough Hall in a dazzling glow of lights.

For the Santa Claus podium, Vito custom-designed a brick floor by drawing the pattern in marker colors. He then fed his design into a ten foot computer which translated the pattern into a vinyl floor. The magnificent photographs of the winter scene that framed Santa's throne were enlarged to 8' by 8'. Green neon lights were added to crown it off, creating the appearance of a magical workshop where Santa and his elves could greet the children.

With the help of the C.E.R.T. Volunteers, the Winter Wonderland brought smiles, giggles and
lots of laughter to all of the families that shared in the enchanted evening at Borough Hall.
