Hopatcong Woman’s Club (HWC) is a member of the New Jersey State Federation of Women’s Clubs (NJSFWC)—the largest volunteer service organization in New Jersey, and the General Federation of Women’s Clubs--the oldest national and international women’s volunteer organization.
Highlights of the ongoing volunteer projects serving our community and surrounding areas are:
- Fundraising for annual continuing education scholarships
- Fighting food insecurity by collecting food for local food pantry.
- Provide toiletries, clothing and hygiene products to veteran homes, and girls and women experiencing homelessness.
- Long-time supporter of Domestic and Sexual Abuse Intervention (DASI) of Sussex County.
We expand our minds through our Between the Pages book club, and gain skills by holding leadership positions and chairing projects.
