So in effect we will now be having recycling

every week as opposed to every other week.

These changes will be reflected on the next

monthly calendar.

Help local homeless animals find a safe home.

Share your love and your life with an animal that needs your help.

All animals are spayed/neutered, tested for leukemia,
feline aids as well as their rabies shots.

This event is organized and run

as a chosen project for Carly Wolff's

Girl Scout Gold Award.


The Hopatcong Borough Community Emergency Response Team ( C.E.R.T. ) will be hosting a new C.E.R.T. class beginning July 15, 2009. The class runs every Wednesday night from 7 pm - 9 PM for 10 weeks. The last class and graduation will be held on September 16, 2009. The classes are held at Northwood Fire Co #2. There is no cost for this class. If you like to help your community, then become a member of a Volunteer organization such as C.E.R.T.

FUND RAISER

Sponsored by Leanne Grant who is working towards her Girl Scout Gold Award.

Collection boxes will be available at all the Elementary Schools,

the Middle School and in Borough Hall.

Please help the homeless animals by donating all pet supplies.

Our animals need blankets, towels, pet food (dog and cat), small paper plates, cat litter, bleach, and any other cleaning supplies that are safe for animals.

PROGRAM (LIHEAP) receive an automatic benefit amount based on heating type.

There is extra help available called the "emergency program".

If you have not received any benefit yet or have used up your initial "automatic" benefit gets you additional help for any heating source except electric and natural gas.
