FLUSHING
The Hopatcong Water Utility will begin a Hydrant Flushing Program on Monday, May 5, 2008 and will continue through the end of the June. Hydrant flushing will be performed between the hours of 7:00am and 2:30pm. During this program water may become discolored and reduced pressure may be noticed for brief periods of time. Residents are advised to check their water before using or doing laundry. If brown water is observed please open your outside tap and flush until the brown water is eliminated.
